In the menu that appears, select Lock File.Locate the file you would like to lock in your Box Drive folder structure.

I closed and I killed excel - even in CMD. When I reopened the file two days ago, it said this file is locked for editing by 'user(me). I saved a file in my network drive and closed it. It appears to happen when saving the file and the users Upload Center is having authentication issues. I saw this in Word live collaboration only last week but it also occurs in Excel.
